Who are we kidding? I am just a mom with a camera.

 

A mom that has found some excitement in having a hobby, semi-seperate from her kids' activities.

 

Photography. I have always loved it. My passion for photography started in high school when I was able to learn the art of technical photography, composition, and the magic of the darkroom and then apply my own creativity in order to create a beautiful image that lasts forever.

 

Thanks to my other life-long loves, yearbook and journalism, I have a passion for preserving memories in action...not only for myself, but for others. Athletes playing a game they love, parents cheering them on, coaches reacting to a great play. Great action frozen in an image can be such a rush.

 

Throw in a full-time yearbook business, a home, a hubby, three dogs, four kids and way too many things on my calendar, there is little to no time for myself anymore (you get it, moms). So I decided to merge my passions in a way that I can be a present mom at my kids' games AND be able to find a part of ME in it all!
